ACJ Properties is an independent agency with a huge appetite for growth. Established in 1993, we are the largest independent letting agency in the Vale of Glamorgan and our recently re-branded sales division, Jones Estates has operated in the Estate Agency market since 2004. In August 2016, we recruited Sarah Plumley, previously Operations Manager at Peter Alan as our new Head of Lettings. Sarah has managed several acquisitions during her career and not long after joining us, secured the acquisition of the lettings portfolio from Meadowvale Estate Agents in Penarth. Anthony Jones, the owner of ACJ has now officially retired but is still involved in major business decisions.

Owners of estate and /or letting agencies may have concerns about staff and customers finding out that selling the agency is a consideration. This is a natural concern, however, any discussions would be treated in the strictest confidence with a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place. If the discussions did proceed to a successful sale of the business, communications with staff and customers would be agreed together.

We feel strongly about the future of independent Estate and Letting Agents and think that others may too. We hope that owners of businesses who may be looking to retire, or pursue other business interests will explore the possibilities of selling to like-minded, independent agents and help to prevent a future of the high street agency all being owned by just a few corporate businesses. We have the funds in place to purchase an estate and / or lettings business or a portfolio of rental properties.
